- Fan comments “MERCH” on the post
- Fanhaven automatically DMs the fan: “Hey! Here’s the link to shop the new drop: [Fanpass link]”
- Fan clicks the link, signs up for Fanpass, and shops merch

You can disconnect Instagram at any time from the Integrations page. Fanhaven complies with Meta’s data policies, including:
- Data deletion requests — Handled automatically via webhook
- Deauthorization — Clean disconnection of the integration
- Privacy compliance — Fan data captured through Instagram follows the same consent and privacy rules as all other Fanhaven data
Instagram keyword campaigns work best when paired with strong calls-to-action in post captions. Be explicit about what the keyword does — “Comment MERCH and I’ll DM you the link to shop” performs better than just “Comment below.”
