# Bundles

> Create product bundles to increase average order value.

**Bundles** let you group multiple merch items together and sell them at a special price. They're a proven way to increase average order value and move more inventory.

## Bundle types

Fanhaven supports two types of bundles:

### Fixed bundle

A **fixed bundle** contains a specific set of items. The fan gets exactly what's in the bundle — no substitutions.

**Example:** "Tour Pack" = Tour Tee + Tour Poster + Enamel Pin for $45 (normally $55 if bought separately)

### Pick-any bundle

A **pick-any bundle** lets the fan choose from a selection of items to build their own bundle. You set the rules — how many items and which categories to choose from.

**Example:** "Pick Any 3 Tees" = Choose any 3 t-shirts from the catalog for $60 (normally $25 each)

## Creating a bundle

<Steps>
  ### Go to Merch Catalog

  Navigate to your merch catalog from the dashboard.

  ### Click "Create Bundle"

  Select the bundle type (fixed or pick-any) and configure:

  | Setting              | Description                                                          |
  | -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | **Name**             | Bundle name (e.g., "VIP Pack")                                       |
  | **Type** | Fixed or Pick Any |
  | **Items** | The products included (fixed) or available to choose from (pick-any) |
  | **Price** | The bundle price (typically less than the sum of individual items) |
  | **Available Online** | Whether this bundle appears in the Fanpass store |
  | **Purchase limit** | Max quantity a single fan can buy (optional) |

  ### Add bundle items

  For **fixed bundles**, add the exact items and sizes included.

  For **pick-any bundles**, add the pool of eligible items and set how many the fan can choose.

  ### Activate the bundle

  Save and the bundle is immediately available on POS and (if enabled) online.
</Steps>

## Bundles on the POS

When a staff member selects a bundle on the POS:

* **Fixed bundles** add all items to the order at the bundle price
* **Pick-any bundles** prompt the staff member to select the individual items and sizes the fan wants

## Bundles online

Online bundles work the same way:

* **Fixed bundles** show as a single product with all included items listed
* **Pick-any bundles** guide the fan through selecting their items with a step-by-step flow

## Pricing strategy

<Tip>
  A good bundle discount is typically **10-20% off** the combined individual prices. Enough to feel like a deal, but not so much that it undercuts your margins.
</Tip>

| Strategy          | When to use                                            |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Loss leader**   | Bundle a popular item with slower-moving inventory     |
| **Premium pack** | Group high-end items for VIP fans |
| **Starter pack** | Combine essentials for new fans at an accessible price |
| **Album + merch** | Pair music with apparel for album launch shows |
